Mooring Ropes:
These are coupled with mooring chains to provide flexibility and improve the manageability of a marine-grade mooring system. For the offshore industry, in association with Jeyco and OIL Ltd, we can also design, supply and, if required, install proven, deep-sea mooring systems using tethered polyester rope. Tether ropes are manufactured with a minimum breaking strain of 1,907 tonne (4,200 kips), with anti-twist mark lines, and laser length-measuring under load at the factory. Read More Hawsers:
Through our exclusive agency with Jeyco and its partner OIL Ltd, SRM is pleased to offer the world’s finest offshore-grade hawser ropes made by Quintas & Quintas in Portugal. Hawsers can be manufactured to the specific needs of your mooring buoy system, and currently are available for delivery from the factory in only 10 weeks from confirmed order (please note that lead time can vary with product demand). SRM can supply complete Single Point Mooring Hawsers including: lace-on floats, chain support buoys, fairlead chafing chains, messenger lines, pick-up lines and buoys. Towing Ropes:
We offer custom-made towing lines for tug boat operations. Some of the strong, low-weight ropes we commonly supply to the towing industry include: Aqualine; Combiflex; and Double-Braid Polyesters. General Purpose Ropes:
SRM supplies a full range of general-purpose utility fibre ropes with varying qualities of strength, stretch, creep, torque and floatation ability depending on the intended use.
