 Malaysian Continental Shelf Study – Law of the Sea Review (Completed March 2007)

This was a multi-disciplinary study for the government of Malaysia represented by several agencies. The purpose of the study was to equip the Malaysian government in submitting its continental shelf outer limit claims in the South China Sea. The legal review required SRM to analyse technical recommendations for the extension of the Malaysian continental shelf and provide likely scenarios & legal implications for the Malaysian Government. |
 Terengganu Coastal and Islands Study (TCIS) (Completed November 2006)

The TCIS project was a six-month study on Terengganu’s coastline and the islands of Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang. SRM conducted a rapid assessment of the condition of the Terengganu coastal environment; in addition SRM conducted a tourism physical carrying capacity and |
